If you are removing the eggs, a well conditioned pair can spawn just about once a month. Give or take, it kind of depends on the pair, the tank size, the food, etc...

The conditions of the tank are what makes any fish spawn, everything has to match exactly to its natural environment. Check your PH levels make sure to read books on what is the most adequate setting for this type of fish. Salinity acidity and temp play very big keys in the mood it puts fish in, only very few people like to get jiggy with it in an unpleasant environment.

that i don't know,but if u want them to spawn it is best to keep the water temp. bout 27 to 28 degrees CELSIUS.
