April is one of our most unpredicatable months. We usually have a lot of sun but we sometimes have some bad blizzards in April. Late April should be a nice time to visit but be prepared for anything.

April is the most erratic weather month here. It can be 70 and sunny. There can be a blizzard. I've been here when that described two days in succession.

Spring comes late here and so that is very early Spring. Not much is green yet. It's the wettest month in this dry climate.

Fall is the best Denver weather. Clear, warm days and cool nights, and lasts till November.

I've always found that I really like the month of April in Colorado Springs. It's not too wintery, although it is true we do get that wierd blizzard now and then. But all in all the weather is gorgeous in april, or i think so anyway. It gives me hope, I hate driving in the snow during february and march and all the other snowy months!!!

There are only about 3 days a year I feel safe leaving the house without my knee length wool coat. And do you know the phrase 'April showers'? Well, usually it's more accurately 'April snow'. That's the UK for you... c'est la vie

You can go to weather.com and get the weather anywhere in the country. The closer you get to your travel date, the better to check.
