i read the first one but it left me wanting to know whats next did you read it? like it or not ohh ps its by scott westerfield

those books are AMAZING!!!! mr. Westerfeld is my fave author ver!!! I finished the whole series already...gosh Specials(the last book) was sooo sad! but trust me, it will leave you AMAZED!! and the ending in pretties...just WOW! I am currently reading midnighters(also by scott). and it is pretty good so far.
once you are done reading the uglies series, I also reccomend 'Peeps' and 'the last days'.

The first one is definitely the best of the three, but if you want to know how it all comes out, definitely read Pretties and Specials. Hopefully your local library will have them. They are popular, so may not always be in, though. Specials really wraps up the story.

I've read Uglies and Pretties and I liked them both okay. I'm waiting for my library to get Specials. They're not my new favorites or anything like that but I think they're worth a read. Plus I couldn't just stop after Pretties...I have to find out what happens to her!

i read all of the books in the trilogy. i'd have to say i liked uglies best but all of the other books in the trilogy are exactly as good
i would definitely read them they are really good

Uglies was great. Pretty's wasn't. In fact, I didn't finish it, AND will not waste time with Specials.
