Yes, and I never knew about it until I got pregnant with my son. No one I knew or met had the hip-problem, and my husband actually thought I was making it up! With my second pregnancy (currently still going through it), it started around my 2nd month and hasn't slowed since. It actually got worse. My Ob-Gyn told me that if I walked in long strides or walked too much for that matter, it would hurt. Also, doing simple things like squatting to get something or cleaning my own home would cause my hips to hurt so badly, I had to have my husband help me walk to the bathroom. No lifting anything heavy. Standing for a long period of time does it to me, too. Sorry you have to go through this, too!

Yep. There's a chemical in your body called relaxin that causes all of your joints to get looser. I have pain in my hips and my shoulders from it.
It usually starts in the second trimester. Not all women get this, though. You'll sure know it if you do.

Oh yeah... that was horrible!!! I think it started around 7-8 months, but the last month was really hard... my hips felt like they were seized.
