Yes I agree why does everyone like it its the most boooooringest game in the whole world, and why do people like it, I don't know

Well, I played it mostly because it was free AND it didn't need a massive download like some of the other games like MapleStory and Rappelz. So, that's probably why it's so popular, not necessarily because it is exciting, but because of the convenience it allows. At the time, I was twelve, so any game online was a novelty to me, however I was not allowed to download anything with the family computer. Now I have my own computer and Runescape's appeal died on me, so I play other games with better quality and gameplay, but with a necessary download.

runescape is popular becuase there are no trials and then u have to pay like $20.00 like guild wars or anarchy online very basic game easy to understand
memberships are also cheep 5$ a month which is not bad but usually when ppl say games are boring no offence but ur a noob

I totally understand what you r saying. I am a lvl 64 on runescape but I never play anymore. Its like a video game that takes forever to finish. It is like Heelys and wii they are going to be popular for a while because they are cool but next year there will be some new cool site. plus I got to chat with my friends until we all quit.

People just have different interest in games like runescape for example.

Finally someone with some sense! Oh, good question. lol If you're too poor to play world of warcraft and too advanced to play pacman I guess you play runescape. Even though I still choose pacman over runescape...

I think people like Runescape because it is an online game, so they chat with their friends and new people. It helps in business skils, and other reasons...

Heres the reason: If you play that game and you are above the age of around 15..you will find it super duper boring, graphics are horrible and gameplay sucks, the only people you see play that game are those around 12-14 or even younger...believe me, many ppl that play that game havn't hit puberty yet.
