That would be a western conifer seed bug,Leptoglossus occidentalis of the family coreidae. Used to be found only on the western side of the continent, but they are found pretty much all over now. They have a bad habit of entering homes when winter is approaching which many people don't enjoy as they are somewhat noticeable. As the name implies it's food sources are conifers and they may be pests in some situations

But yes it is definatley the Western Conifer Seed Bug, they belong to the leaf-footed bugs (Family: Coreidae)

It is definitely a squash bug (so named because they are often found eating squash plants). I judged vegetables for years, and I learned how to identify insects that damage crops. That is absolutely a squash bug. Below is a sample pic.

it is a hemipteran (true bug). Many are pests of plants. However certain species feed on blood and in some areas of the world can transmit Trypanosoma cruzi (chagas disease).

looks like a squash bug. they are all over in the summer.
