I like Pogo myself.Lots of different games and they have tabs for age groups,but you must behave or they will ban you from playing.The chat is great and the games are fun and you can win stuff also athough this is not typical.

I would suggest Runescape. It is moderatly hard to get started but if you stick with it it'll be a rewarding experience.
