I might be moving to Orlando, FL in the summer and I want to attend UF in Gainesville (University of Florida) because I heard it is an excellent university. But, my family is moving to Orlando, not Gainesville, so I just would like to know how long of a drive would it be?

I lived in Florida for years.
It's 91 miles and it takes
about ninety minutes to
drive, on a clear day.

You can only try going by plane since you do not have the luxury of time. As far as 20 hours on Grayhound from CA to FL is false. I driven several times from Houston Tx almost non stop except for gas food batroom, averaging 18 hours a trip or more to Orlando 1125 miles. Anyways try to book a flight way ahead of your travel thats where you can get the best price available. Bookingbuddy, Kayak search engines.

Depending on where in Orlando your parents are moving too, it is about 115miles which is about 1hr and 45min on a good day once again depending on where they are moving too and traffic.
I'm not trying to be rude by saying this, so I apologize if it comes out wrong but UF is an extremely hard University to get into with the individual schools being even harder. It is also quite expensive and this is coming from a FL resident.
Good Luck!

A little more than 2 hours. We always stop in Gainsville for the night when we drive to Orlando from MS.
