I think god made me who I am and I know (personally and scientifically) that no one chooses their orientation.
I also believe only god can judge me

My beliefs about what is right and wrong are the same as any other Christian. And I deal with my faith the same as any other Christian deals with his faith when the Church says things that conflict with my reality.

Well, some of the Bible wasn't meant to be taken literally, so we pick and choose those parts that work for us and disregard the rest!

For example, if you think about Sodomy coming from the story of Sodom and Gomorrah, you have to realize it's just a nice little story that has no meaning or relevance to our lives.

It's really quite easy to disregard parts of the Bible - after all, it's just written by old men thousands of years ago. A lot of it is just fantasy.

I believe that the church has been misinterpreting the Bible for years and that homosexuality is in fact accepted. Sadly, these misinterpretations have been misguiding people for centuries and causing Christians (who are supposed to love their neighbor), to judge and feel hatred towards homosexuals.

Well I'm a gay christian.

I was born this way. I want to be straight. I wish I was straight, but I am not and I cannot change that.

Therefore, I refuse to believe in a god that condems gays. So I believe that God is okay with gays.

Gay Christians sin like heterosexual Christians. They have premarital sex.
