so part of my gift to my boyfriend was that i am gonna do a scavenger hunt starting in his car after school and ending up in his room where i will decorate it. ive already asked his mom if i could decorate his room and she said okay but i kind of dont know what to do in his room-im gonna leave his gift on the bed and i have a little thing to hang over his door that spells out l-o-v-e. and i dont know what to do in his room?!?! candles?coutout hearts? red balloons on the floor?!?!?! what?!?! please help

referring to the first response...he doesnt mind people being in his room.we go in it all the time and its not like theres anything in there he wouldnt want me to see..actually i might need to make sure his sis gets my present out of his room before i go in..that would spoil the surprise

i think rosepetals would be a little weird..im best friends with his little sister who is in my grade and i think shed be weirded out by that kinda thing..knowing her.

i think it would be cute to scatter rose petals on his bed or on the floor of his room. if you dont have the money for the real petals you can get some at walmart for $2 a box. they have them in pink and in red. :]
you could also just get him a batch of balloons and put them in the corner of his room.
you could also decorate with candles if you wanted.
it sounds like you were going on the right track though. i dont think he would be weirded out that you were in his room. i think he will appreciate how much thought you put in it. after all its valentines day, how can he get mad at you on just a lovely day? :]

Rosepetals all over the bed. Maybe some candles. Be sure to buy the roses with the long stems. Sure you're going to just pull the petals off of the flower and toss the stems, but it will mean more if you pay an extra $7.00 per rose.

i cannot answer for him, but i am one of thoes people that is very strange about people being in my bedroom, and i am near to 30.
i would say that you are better off just leaving the present and maybe a card, but i would cut it short of paper hearts and otehr decorations.
