I have never had regular periods. Infact I recently went for almost 10 months without one. I then went to see my gyno, who ran a ton of tests. Come to find out I have whats called a Bicornuate uterus. It just means that the Uterus never fused the way it should have. I had been trying for almost 5 years to have a child. So now I get to take my temp every morning and go through a cycle of pills and shots. It's really not as bas as it sounds. I have a mild case, as my Gyno put it. It can cause infertility though. You should get in into your's as soon as possible. Tell them you are trying but nothing is happening, they should be able to come to some conclusion for you. Good Luck. I hope everything goes well for you.

The only way you can tell is by being tested. My neice is fertile, but lacks a protein that is required to carry the baby, so she could get pregnant every single month, but still have her period, because she isn't able to carry past her period date. My only concern is that you tried having a baby with a man that you are no longer with, and now you are trying with another, that I presume you are not married to, how do you know that this is the guy that you will spend the rest of you life with? That baby that you will hopefully has, deserves the best in life. Two parents. Good luck

Fertility clinic will do tests. I don't know if there are free clinics for this, or if and how much it would cost.
