Hi. I love shoes, but I'm having problems with a three pairs I just bought. Two of them are flats, and another is platform. Basiclly, I wear them at the store and they feel GREAT! However, after wearning them for 2-3 hours, the back of my heel is bleeding. It seems that it always happens. I'm not sure if that part's called the heel. It's at the back where it's sort of wrinkly. 5 inches above the bottom. I would really like it if there are tips to help because I don't want to return shoes that have blood on them. The shoes are from different stores.

if you go to the drug store, there are these dr.shols blister pads that just stick on to the back of your shoe. it completley stops you from getting any blisters and pain on your foot and they are around 5 dollars. they work amazing and then you dont have to retire your shoes.
ps they work amazing in flats.

It's not unusual for new shoes to do that until they're broken in. One way to handle that is to tape gauze bandages (or simply a bandaid) to the backs of your ankles at the area making contact with the top of the shoe. You can also try stuffing tissue paper in those locations. Eventually, the shoes will break in (the leather or other material will soften and yield a bit more), and the problem will go away.
