It depends on the density of the liquid.

A fluid ounce is not a measure of weight. It is a measure of volume. So it cannot be converted into a weight without knowing what liquid your are talking about.

And no, it is not 2 lbs, unless the liquids density happens to be 1 oz/fl oz.

I doubt you have a 0.9 fl oz bottle- that'd be really tiny. A fluid ounce (or fl oz for short) is what they mean when they say you need 32 ounces, so you need 32 fl oz. If you have a 9 ounce bottle, you'd need about 3 and a half to equal 32 ounces. Any time "ounces" refers to liquid measurement, rather then the weight of something, you can assume it's a fluid ounce (fl oz).

Why can't you figure this out? 8 oz is one lb. Eight goes into 32 four times, so 32 oz is 4 lbs.

It this is water than 32oz weights a little over 2 lbs.
