Well Japanese people speak Japanese... but they can learn how to speak English and/or Spanish... but the only Japanese people I personally know speak English... odds are more Japanese people will speak English over Spanish as we (Americans) have much more business with the Japanese.

It depends on where they're manufactured usually. It's a birds and bees question mainly I'm afraid. Plus i hear they have in-built electronics to change automatically using satellite-tracking methods. If you explain this to the said 5yr old, all will become clear ;)
