Did the Grammys put out a good show this year?

....i say they could of done better. I wasn't feeling the audience. The spirit was not that high.....the performances were okay I guess.

However....being a rock fan I honestly belive the red hot chili peppers could of done better. I don't know. That's how i felt.

So what did you think about the Grammys?

I agree it was just ehh... I think it was a lot more hyped up on the commercials then it appeared once you watched. I know what you mean about the red hot chilli peppers I'm a fan and love them but there performance wasn't jaw-dropping, I don't think anyone's was. A bit of a let down this year ;(

The Grammys was okay this year. There were a couple good performances whereas others were entirely too long. I like Red Hot Chilli Peppers too but for them to be the closing act, I just did not feel they did as good as they could. Justin Timberlake and the Robyn girl did okay. Plus John Mayer and Corrine Bailey Rae did well. I really liked Chris Brown dancing on the James Brown tribute..that was hot. No one really stood out though....everyone was trying to upstage everyone else so it was down hill from there.

I am happy Mary J Blige finally won Grammys, and the Dixie Chicks basically took over with five wins...not suprising though because the show usually favors one genre over others it seems every year! Country repetitiously...not that I have something against country...I like them okay.

At one time successful a Grammy, or another equivalent award used to be a profession spotlight. Now nevertheless they have got grow to be meaningless. Originally they intended that a performer had completed anything noteworthy. and there were not just about as many, now they practically need to have one for each and every little factor, and this takes clear of their significance. Even the traditional man or woman has come to observe that those awards are extra self helping the enterprise, than that means that any one is, or used to be an terrific performer. There maybe a complete of ten which are valued at awarding now, as opposed to the quantity which are given out.

the only part i like is when luda and chris brown perform.

especally when chris emitated james brown
he did that
he was the one to get the crowd hyped
other than that everybody else sucked
especially beyonce with that 2 sec song

Definitely could have been better, I was kind of disappointed
