i have met a new friend and i don't know how to tell whether or not she can be trusted? how do you find out?

key word...NEW ..... only time will tell..trust is something that should be hard to achieve and you could only earn it through trials that shows the credibility of your sincerity in a certain situation... and sometimes this is where you could really see the true color of the person...do not be deceive in how nice they could be to you because people can easily put up an act so they could be well-liked by others....
Best move you could take is to analyze and not conclude for the moment...because you don't really have enough information or knowledge about this person, even though she may seem nice its probably because she is new and it takes TIME for a rose to bloom and reveal itself... Give her a chance to prove herself but just make an eyeful watch to see if she really is worthy of your trust...trust should be something hard to earn because it is also something easily destroyed once taken advantage of...
I had a friend for over a year now and i thought she was gonna be well-trusted... now everyday i see her there is suddenly a huge rip between the both of us and i can easily tell that she is becoming a fake... and she was a friend for a year and we were close..... it also doesn't matter how long you guys have been friends...but also the event and circumstances that truly show how reliable they really are in situations...
you shouldn't be hostile towards her or even be cold...but reserve your judgments in your mind and right now just make presumptions and see from there on where it leads....because who knows? you guys might become the best of friends

The only way to tell is to give them a chance..... Trust her, and if she betrays your trust than, well you'll know not to try=ust her in the future. It's really the only way.

first build up the relationship, then ask her (or give her a task) to see if you can trust her- but, make sure the task won`t hurt you, or her, or do anything bad to either one of you.

Give them a chance...don't be to judging. If they are trustworthy it will show. Also if you want to see if they are tryustworthy give them a small secret and see if they can keep it secret

honestly you have to see if she does anything bad like revealing any secerts that you told her.
