Earlier I ask this question. "I ran an security test on my computer and was told this. Your computer may now be functioning as an Internet Server with neither your knowledge nor your permission. Everyone wrote back telling me to check viruses and spyware and so on. Still turned up with nothing. I'm thinking what is happening is ICMP Pinging my computer is accepting incoming pings. is there a way for be to block or stealth. Windows Xp "updates installed" behind a NAT router. Installed firewall and AV. Test was run and GRC website. & symantec's website. both came up with the same results. Thank You everyone who's tried to help out so far. I really thank you for your time.

Its BS.

You have a tracking cooking in there and when you open InternetExplorer or your browser on all or certain websites that pops up

Sometimes difficult to fine. Go to Tools, Unternet Options, Delete Cookies, delete files, off line files too. You might have to clean out the bank of cookies in Explore too. Go to Start, Explore and cookies and set those by DATE. Then delete as needed until its gone. Fact is you can delete them all. They will return on their own.

Have you used a Registry Cleaner? Try that Tune-Up Utilities Its free trial for 30 days www.tune-up.com I have that as a paid subscription, it is very good.

You should be able to activate the "Stealth" mode by accessing the "Settings" or "Advanced Setting" of your routers firewall.
