I will try my best to help you, because I have been through this same question and I got all the answers about do whatever you want and only you can decide, kind of stuff and it frustrated me. First of all picture yourself as an adult and think about a career that when you wake up in the morning to go to work you will love going just to go. Also, picture yourself doing a job that you would be willing to do for no pay at all. Quiz yourself, Do you like helping people? Do you like dealing with numbers and facts? Do you like to argue and fight for justice? Do you like taking things apart and putting them back together? Never decide on a career just for the money, but be reasonable and consider facts also. If you know that you have a love for money like I do, then do not pick a career that really do not pay anything unless you come from a family with money, like if your parents are doctors, lawyers, business owners, etc. Try and choose a career that will satisfy your wants and needs intellectually, mentally, and financially. Make sure the career will make you happy also while making your bank account happy to put it into simpler terms. I really hope that I have helped, I am in the same situation right now but I am getting through it with the advice listed above. Good luck, and follow your heart!

something you love-- remember, if you are not having fun, then it is not worth doing. I do not know how old you are, but do not worry about deciding and sticking to it. You may change several times and end of with the career of your dreams... probably the one you *never* thought of.

In time you will learn what you want your career to be.
Just find what you love to do, and take it from there.

Look around...what are you interested in? That should be an indication.
