Like many others said before me, it feels a lot like really, REALLY bad menstrual cramps. They got so bad with me that it nearly took my breath away. Plus, real contractions can be timed. The Braxton -Hicks cannot (at least, mine don't) and if you move or walk around, they tend to go away whereas, my real contractions stopped me in my tracks. Anyway, you're probably just experiencing Braxton-Hicks, so I wouldn't worry too much. After your 36th week, however, I would be looking for the real thing!

Right now you are experiencing Braxton Hicks. You will know when you go into labor b/c the contractions will become more regular, more intense, and feel different than the ones you are experiencing now. Some women feel labor contractions in the front like really bad menstrual cramps, others feel them as a low back ache, and others will feel both. Every woman is different, but rest assured you WILL know when the time comes.

First of all, do not you need to be anything you are now not. It's lovely noticeable while rookies are attempting to behave all cool, however have a complete insecurity. That's the worst factor you'll be able to do isn't have any trust. Be optimistic in your self and you'll be able to be pleasant. Know who your truly peers are and persist with them. Trying to suit right into a institution you feel is cool is the quantity one million strategy to lose your whole peers. Don't be fearful. Be optimistic, and feature amusing. You'll discover peers. When I used to be a freshman I used to be making peers with sophomores and juniors with no trouble. Because I on no account acted like a sizzling shot. Just be your self. You most effective seem dull in case you act dull.

Your friend is correct. Also you may feel like the baby keeps moving up and back down into your lungs. Like every few minutes you will feel out of breath, because the contractions are pushing the baby down in your uterus, then when it stops the baby moves back up. With my youngest It just felt like your worst ever menstrual cramps! Hope this helps. Congrats and a healthy baby and fast labor to you!

Sounds like braxton hicks. Your body is doing 'fake' contractions to prepare for the real thing. Real contractions feel like period cramps

true braxton hicks are the ones that start at the top of your stomach... when i was contracting if felt like little tingles from my lower abdomen. It is weird to explain.. but it can feel like cramps, it can feel like someone is pinching you.. trust me if you are having one you will know it.. some hurt some don't.... but if you can't feel them then that just means that they are not strong enough yet... just small little ones.

contractions that start in your upper stomach, like your friend described, are often braxton hicks contractions. true contractions start down low and fell like really bad cramps. that's what mine feel like anyway.
