If you have a state conviction,( even if it was only probation) can u block it so that employers cant see it?

You cannot block it, no but you can request that the state give you a pardon, which would exponge your record. You have to contact your state government in your capital and ask about the proceedure to get a pardon. They are costly and time consuming, where I live they only hold like 4 hearings a year, and that is only if your paperwork is approved and sent to that office. Good luck.

The short answer is yes you can block from employers, But, your record will never be clean as far as law enforcment and the court system is concerned.

no matter how much u tried to block it eventually will show up and then u,ll regret it later.I have friends that got employment and covered this and was discovered later and got fired.in any case don,t risk it.
