All depends on what kind of food he likes and how much effort you want to put into it I guess. One cool idea would be to basically bring the restaurant to your house in this instance. If you go to Benihana's online website and go to the very bottom of their page they have a recipe section to the site that gives you most of there popular dishes. They are not really hard to make either, I just did it the other day in a matter of 30 minutes. That of course would be oriental Japanese food, so if he doesn't like that type then probably don't go with that.
If he is more of an American taste, I'd go with a classic homestyle dinner such as Fried chicken with gravy and Mashed potatoes, it is tough to go wrong with that!
