No, but there are other ways that you can educate. Some other ways that are visual is visits to museums, art shops, educational movies watching Discovery, National Geographic Learning Channel etc. Not all people like to be involved with books but will happily go the show.

Probably the best way to enhance his/her knowledge would be to engage his/her curiosity. If you can get him excited about something, he may research it on his own. Also, some people are not readers, but respond to spoken information. If this is the case, you know what to do.
