Okay, I for one hate the show (it's not even funny), but I had a question. I noticed that in some episodes, Raven's mother does not appear (her name is Cindy. I think). She appeared in the earlier episodes. My friend says that the girl who played her died, but on WikiPedia, it says she simply got a better job. Which is right?

Neither. She quit because she did not like the way the character was being developed.
