Forgeins are actually good quaility cars, while the domestics are cheap and most ugly (like escalade, and surburbean etc.) Why not invest in a good quaility vechicle?

I have a domestic car and it is very nice looking and is a high quality vehicle. It was also several thousand less than a comparable Toyota.

Buick's quality is higher than Toyota's. You are still living in the 1980s. The gap has closed and in some cases, the Americans are the leaders.

Plus American cars have style, while Japanese cars are for anonymous drones.

And in a head-on collision, the guy in the Buick will walk away while the guy in the Toyota will leave in an ambulance...or hearse.

Whats a forgein? I think you mean foreign.I have owned both new domestic and new foreign cars. Typically you pay more for a foreign car and absolutely the maintenance upkeep is 3 times more expensive than a domestic car. Growing families and people on fixed incomes many times opt for the lower domestic upkeep charges.

A quick and simple answer to your question... They are stupid !
Explanation... Japanese car manufacturers are "on the money"... Toyota is probably the best of the pack... quality really is job #1 for them... not just a saying... but true ! Most of us Americans have our heads so far up our asses with patriotism, that we don't care about what really matters in an automobile purchase... just that it's an American brand... And just exactly what is American these days ??? A lot of Chevys are built in good old Mexico City... that's right, Mexico City.. not Detroit... some are even built in Canada... and even a majority of the parts that go into building an American car are produced in various nations other than the red, white and blue ! In fact, a lot of so-called Japanese cars are built right here in America... some of them have more American made parts then do actual American cars ! A little food for thought before you go out and drop 30 grand on a Chevy or Ford... why not go out and buy an American made Toyota ???

DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND JUST BUY A JAPANESE CAR

FIRST OF ALL YOU'LL GET A GOOD QUALITY CAR AND YES YOU WILL SUPPORT THE AMERICAN ECONOMY
