So, I need to know things like the recent amounts in the US and most importantly the percentages of say a big financial fallout, homelessness as a result or the correlation of drug use with homelessness---I dunno, if you can find a really good website let me know.

Narrow your topic. Homeless veterans; homeless children; homeless alcoholics, etc. If your topic is too broad you won't know where to start.
