in a positive sense, rather than the negative connotation [as in teenage hormones], that it has become the consensus or rather instantaneous interpretation of the word. In my heart of hearts I believe that life is about two things...choices and attitude. By keeping both as positive as humanly possible, we cannot lose. In looking back at my 56 years on this earth I have found that by drawing on a hopeful and positive attitude, my life has been constructive, productive, and my character is never questioned. What a thoughtful question! Have a marvelous day!! Annie

The right attitude to achieve goal or the wrong attitude - going about it in the wrong way - not achieving your goal.

The right attitude or a positive attitude toward any task can ultimately achieve the desired affect. Possibly the word attitude could be likened to Mood or the right frame of Mind.

One positive attitude I may adopt if I wish a certain person to behave in certain way would be to be friendly toward them perhaps pay them a compliment, this can have the desired affect.

Let's examine the role of a mother.
A good attitude is wanting to protect off-spring.
A bad attitude is not caring...
When the off-spring presents the mother with problems,
a good mother will do her utmost to help...
a bad 'un will inflict more harm.

re: Teenagers
One with a healthy attitude will be actively working their future.
One with a poor attitude will be doing the opposite - for no other reason than he / she is electing to do that irregardless of the consequences to themselves & others i.e. Hell-bent.

Does that help?
