I'm trying to find out how long alabama will hold someone. My brother got pulled over in Alabama and they ran his info and he turned up with a warrant in Missouri. He has waived extradition and we are just trying to figure out how long alabama will hold him waiting for Missouri. I searched here on answers, and also googled but I cannot seem to find a site that can answer this for me (or I'm just missing it somewhere) Any info or sites you can give me would be appreciated.

Thanks!!

thanks for the quick answers, ML they can only hold him so long can't they? If missouri doesnt have the funds to come get him they can't make him sit there for months or years waiting, since alabama doesnt have any charges against him. At least I wouldnt think so.

I searched using quite a few search engines and could not find anything. Wouldn't it fall under Missouri Extradition Procedures? Sorry I tried for you. Good luck.
