I would do it to save one person I didnt know.

Well ideally I think the world be a better place if we all were a little more self-sacrificing instead of being self-centered.
If there was no time to decide and I have to just act, I would.
I honestly don't know if I could if I had time to contemplate it. I'd like to say I definitely would, but I can think of some horrific deaths that I'm not sure I could face.

I would try to save them but not die a horrible death, as I have children at home that need me more.

depends on how horrible and if all of the people--if i chose not to save them-- would die the horrible death.

answer is hell no, i would not die for someone i don't know,
if you say i am a bad person look at all the actors and celebrities that go over to help starving children who could eat for a year for what they spent on the nice shirt they are wearing for the publicity photo

Yes, if I were absolutely positive that my death would save them, and if they were ordinary people (I wouldn't want to save 5 Hitlers).

That would depend on the 5 people, if it were a bus load of child molesters, or terrorist, no I wouldn't, but if it were good people or children yes I would.

I think so, but only if:
a) The bad guy dies too.
b) He would have to really be pushing my buttons to get me mad enough to do it. Like if he was terrorizing them first, that would do it for me. Oh yea...I'm ready.
Addendum: If they are over 60, no way. They have lived a fulfilling life already.

Right now Im leading towards a 'no', but you never know how you will react till you get into the actual situtation. Im a kind person so I might do it.
