Any Michael Marshel Smith fans here?

I'm not a big fan of fiction but I could not put his books down and found them so easy to read, I know he has a new book out soon under the name Michael Marshall - looking forward to that.

I'm looking for similar authors - any ideas?

Rob Deb, agreed on Only Forward, I think it's the satire and quirk to the main characters I like the best.

Only Forward is probably one of the best books I've read over the last ten years, definatly had the most impact on me.

It depends on what your looking for in the books. I've liked his authorial voice a lot so similar sentiments can be found in christopher bookmeyer and kim newman, both quirky writers and newman similar in his love of the genre.

ifits the humour i would say Robert Rankin although he is more lighthearted.

try one of those author mpas and see what you get I'd be intrigued.
