Your period depends on a lot of factors, with your mother's history and or siblings possibly dicatating when you will get your period. Until you reach 16 years old, you should not worry if you have not had your period yet. The only exception is if you have already started developing breasts. You should get your period within 2-2 1/2 years after you start developing breasts. If you got breast buds at age 12, then you should see a doctor. If you have not yet developed breasts, just hang in there and hopefully nature will take its course.

It's perfectly normal. Some pople start later then others, and others start as early as nine (but the youngest mother in the world got hers at 2 and a half. Ew!) If you don't getit by 16, though, I'd reccomend going to a doctor just to get checked-it might not be anything serious, but there's always the chance it could be.

If you haven't gotten your period by 16, then you have cause to worry. Plenty of girls don't start their period until they are your age. When did your mother start hers? How about your sisters, if you have any? If they started theirs at a later age, you probably will too.

Not a big deal - it can start anytime between 9 and 19. It may seem like everyone else has had it - but no worries! In fact, most would think you are lucky not to have to deal with it.

Don't worry about it, I know lots of people who didnt get their periods til that age. Everybody develops at their own pace, but i think if by 16 you still dont have it you should visit a doctor =] xx

One of my daughters (and me, for that matter) started at 12. My two other daughters did not start until about 15. So it varies, and I wouldn't worry about it unless it waits much beyond your 15th birthday.

All girls are different, some start at 11 and others don't start until about 15. Wait, it will happen, and when it does, you will wish it hadn't.

People simply develop at their own pace. You really shouldn't get too worked up about it.
