i asked a question about the rear wiper on my 01 explorer that water wouldn't come out. People told me to check the water hose to see if its clogged or frozen...It is very cold here but it has never worked so im guessing its clogs or just not hooked up correctly. Where can i look for this, or check on it. If it runs from the back to the front then it must be pretty long..where is it located?

There is a reservoir for the washer solvent for the rear washer, it is in either side panel or near it, or perhaps in the lower "tool" area. Be certain that it has solvent in it. If you can't locate it, ask someone to activate the washer while you stand at the rear of the car and listen for the little pump motor.

It's going to be impossible to access it as it runs through the vehicle. Do you hear a pump motor running when you activate the switch? If not then your problem is the pump itself, it has a separate one from the front washers. Usually it's the pump itself, even if it's running it may not be pumping properly. You can pull hose from pump and blow into it to see if air comes out at the wiper end, this will verify if the pipe is blocked. You'll need a buddy to assist you for this and to listen for the pump. These pumps are not expensive, usually you can get a universal fit unit from a parts place. good luck
