Not much. But the most of the fees will be for your loan. So get the best lender related fees that you can. It rarely makes sense to pay points. Just take the best rate with no points.

Talk all the fees over with the realtor who is helping you. They can find overages for you. But ask them to go over all the fees with you.

One of the things you can get which is very inexpensive is a HOME PROTECTION POLICY.

They are wonderful. When I was a real estate agent it gave everybody peace of mind. The seller, the buy and me. If after you buy the house and move in lets say that oh for example the water heater goes out.

You get a new water heater as the protection plan pays for it. Sometimes it has a deductible you have to pay but its always very low.

Go to google.com and type in Home Protection plan and read up on it they are very good.
