my husband and I are very close...he has 2 kids whome I am very close to...the problem is his X is very insecure about her position with her kids...and seems to be threatened by my participation in thier lives....
now my X and I have a great coparenting realtionship and communicate very well...we are frineds and he is friends with my husband..so its so hard for me to understand a lot of what she does...
she never puts her kids forst and has really made some poor decisions this past year that have affected the children...I try so hard to stay neutral but I get so angry at the things she does and says...she bad mouths me and tryes to find every way possible for me to be excluded from the childrens life....

Tell her that the past is the past and the present is you and husband raising a happy well balanced family either work at it with the two of you or stay quiet and learn to live with it!

You shouldnt have to deal with her and you shouldnt get involved. It`s their kids not yours, as long as rules are being followed when they are in your house and you maintain the relationship WITH the kids, dont worry about her and her insecurities. The kids will see on there own who treats them right, if they like being with you, no matter what she says they`ll want to keep coming around you. Just dont try to pull the same crap she does and try to bad-mouth her b/c then they`ll believe what she says b/c she is the mother. Unfair but that`s the way it is.
