There are a few ways. First off, if they make eye contact very obvious, that can be a sign of lying. Just because someone is looking you in the eyes, doesnt mean they are being honest with you. Second of all, people tend to look to the left when lying, and look to the right when they are trying to recall something.
Third, their eyes will dilate. But this last body response can be caused by many other factors, such as if they like a person, or how much light is in the room.
Fourth of all, if they lie, and are not comfortable with it, you can see them shift their position or studder and trip on their words.
Those are just a few signs of if someone is lying.

if you ask someone a question and they look up into the right corner of their eye they are lying
also if they are nervous or tring to change the subject they are probably lying

Hi, They probably will not look you in the eyes while they are lying to your face.They will sort of look away.And their voice will lower as they talk to you.I think that will help you find your answer.Good Luck,I hope things turn out well for you.

usualy it depends on the persons personallity but most people wont look you in the eye for more than a second or two

they try to avoid your eyes, keep changing their story/it doesn't make sense or talk awkwardly
