Have you seen that new car advert for the KIA Cee'd.?Just that name alone sets my teeth on edge. Why the apostrophe?
The advert simply consists of various shots of people and trees and the inside of the car, with a heavy-breathing voiceover continually repeating ''How? Why? Where? Why? When? How? Why? When?'' for what feels like eternity. As a result of this advert, the KIA Cee'd is now the model of car I am least likely to ever consider buying, at any time in my life.
Does anyone else find it extremely irritating? I'm not far from putting a brick through my own television. It's even more annoying than that stupid ''just another diamond day, just a blade of grass'' T-mobile advert. ARRRGHH!!

The advertisers have done their job well! As long as they get people talking about the product, that's all they are concerned with. The more annoying the better. Doesn't cut it with me, I will go out of my way NOT to purchase something from a stupid commercial. You are right, that goes way beyond annoying.

Haven't seen the Kia but it's a crap car and i'll look out for the advert (once only). I'm with you on M & S - how arrogant can you get? - but my own no-no is Martin Kemp doing SCS cheapo furniture; apart from anything else it's on every 20 minutes. The Kia one must be bad to be more annoying than this one.

Haha! What a funny question :-) I hate those stupid adverts too: car adverts all seem to have been designed by Mr monosyllabic, and they're about as exciting as hanging up washing. I saw this car advert once which was completely typical; 'sleek... smooth' etc etc, then it suddenly burst into psychedelic colours, announcing the new mini something or other, which just goes to show even OTHER car adverts have noticed how mind-numbingly boring each other are.
Mind you, M&S food adverts are quite irritating, with their 'freshly caught wild hare, plucked by special italian sadist chefs and STUFFED with juicy coriander; garnished by the blood of blossoming virgins mixed with rare mountain honey in traditional Polish fashion' or somesuch bollucks :-p Who actually cares?!!

Many of the "Adverts" are just Mindless Trash -- Created by a Bunch of So called "Creative Media Experts" who in reality are Childlike Mindless Prats --- the result is to cause Irritation and strong "Sales Resistance" amongst even the most Feeble Minds ...

i can admit that when i frst heard it i was on my computer and that advert was going off and i suddenly felt myself over come with Rage it's a very annoying advert i agree with you
the graphics may be good but the vioce repeating those words is not

The Head on Commercials were the WORST! They were on my TV for at least 2 years and thank the lord that they are finally gone! I don't even know where those idiots found the money to run the crappy ad for that long.

i completely agree!! what exactly is the point of it all, and what the hell has it got to do with a car?? i thought adverts were supposed to promote items for sale, not put most people off...

yes it's the repeated voice over!!
what about the one with the kid on the bog saying "it's all gone - all gone" cos he's had a big dump & it stinks
the child also is a different nationality to his mother & has a basin hair cut & it's dubbed!!! ARGHHHHH
