You can't sell it to Ebay, you have to sell it to a person on Ebay. But yes you can sell it used, but there is no guarantee on how much you will get (or if it will even sell), the people have to bid on it. You can put a reserve on it to make sure you get at least $230 or whatever you want.

You can put this item on eBay, but you will need to be completely honest about the condition of this item. Is it used? Does it work? Was it fixed? How? Can it be fixed? Is it under warranty? If you are not clear, you may not get anybody who wants it.

eBay doesn't buy it from you. eBay is just a website where you can list it and attract buyers. Remember that everything that goes on on eBay is considered a legal contract, so you will not want to lie about the condition of your iPod.

Ebay do not collect items - you sell if of to others users on Ebay. And there is no way people will buy a second hand (damaged) I pod at full value.
