When will we get to know the truth?

I guess if and when there comes a time that they believe its in our best interests in KNOW something then we will be told. If it isn't of any great importantance or if the information would only cause us distress and anger etc etc then we proberly will never know.

If your luckily enough to get a job there then thats the only sure way of finding out the answer to your question. However everthing inside the base is of top security level and no ones allowed to talk about it.

In November 1989, Robert Scott Lazar, a physicists and MIT graduate, appeared on a Las Vegas news show with a remarkable story. He claimed he had worked at Area 51 on a project involving advanced propulsion systems, certainly a believable claim for someone working at a top secret military base. Then proceeded to explain the inner workings of these propulsion systems, powered by 'anti-gravity reactors', and claimed that the design of these systems was gleaned from crashed UFOs that he had personally seen on the base. He gave detailed descriptions of the circular, disk shaped craft that he claimed the government had stored at a secret complex called S-4 at Papoose Lake, a dry lake bed located a few miles south of Groom Lake. He explained that the project was so secret, not even Congress knew anything about it and it was highly unlikely that the American public would ever be informed.Several of the qualifications that he has claimed to posses have not been proven by researchers. Most believe he is a fraud. But many still think that the Area 51 complex is used to reverse engineer crashed, extraterrestrial aircraft. Some feel some or most of our current advanced aircraft technologies have been derived from these experiments.Despite clear photos and other evidence attesting the existence of Area 51, the U.S. government will now only vaguely admit that Area 51 exists. Some think that the high publicity the base has received over the years may have forced the government to build another, even more secret base in another undisclosed location...

Depends on what exactly you believe in. Do you want to believe there is something GREATER than what it seems - or do you believe what you're told by officials?

United States military aircraft testing facility located within the Nevada Test and Training Range (NTTR). The facility is on the edge of Groom Lake and has one abandoned runway on the lakebed.

The real name of the base is Air Force Flight Test Center, Detachment 3 or AFFTC Det. 3 for short.

The major belief has been that Area 51 is supposed to be completely secret. Its existence was never something the military bothered to hide. Area 51 has appeared on unclassified maps from government agencies and contractors. Only base insiders, military, and the general public have made the claim that it is a secret.

The idea that it holds alien life forms is quite ridiculous since it is an aircraft testing facility and nothing more. The whole idea of Area 51 being associated with aliens is due to Bob Lazar who claimed he worked on reverse-engineering a UFO in a place near by he called "S-4" or Site 4. Bob Lazar's claims have never been backed up and it is believed it was just a lie.

A few of the other names for Area 51 include Dreamland, Watertown, the Ranch, Paradise Ranch, Skunkworks, and the Box (mostly to aviators who see it as a no-fly zone).

Again, it depends - are you into Conspiracies?

Area 51 is just a Red Herring, nothing real is going on there. All the secret are at area 52 and a half. Whats that u say? U never heard of area 52 and a half? See, thats how secret it is.

the secret is that there is no secret. if there ever was they moved it out years ago. would you try to carry on a "secret" operation at a facility featured in that many wacko movie plots and TV shows?

on the other hand it is a facility that is still in operation, and it is still a high security area. again, would you leave anything laying around a place with such a rep and not provide security?

I really doubt that there's anything interesting going on there that isn't already known to the public. It's pretty much become the most talked about test site the US government has, so it wouldn't make much sense to house all of their secrets there.

There is nothing exotic going on other than testing of classified aircraft and if Robert Scott Lazar had released classified facts, you can bet he'd be in Levinworth prison right now.

okay, heres the truth

i work there and all it is, is a bunch of government officials, sitting around, eating donuts, and drinking coffe, laughing about how many people actually believe there is something suspicious going on there. they actually dont even test planes or any stuff like that. all you see is holograms to confuse you, and make it look like theyre doing something.
