I don't have a real problem with homework it is just that I am not in the mood to do it. Also, I am not afraid to admit that I am just plain lazy when it comes to homework and that I can't stand it. Anyone have any advice on how to make homework funner?

Heck ya!

Study with friends.

Put on some good music.

Use acronyms to memorize things (Like in music, when you learned EGBDF...every good boy does fine.)

Have good lighting.

Study at the same time every day.

Don't cram, spread out study times so you have time to actually review.

Don't try to study after eating. Eat after you study, otherwise you'll be asleep.

Always study in the same place, so you begin to associate that area with studying, and get down to business.

Use flashcards! Index cards are perfect.

Highlight key sentences, facts, phrases in your book - then type them into a Word document.

And the best best best advice anyone ever gave me for studying....review before you go to sleep, you'll "sleep on it" and it will become a part of your long-term memory.

Also, try to read something inspirational in the morning to get you going for the day to be motivated.

And remember, GPA is a rank of your self-discipline, not necessarily "smarts," but that helps.
