Soak your nails in nail polish remover for a couple of minutes. Then try washing them with strong soap or dish soap with a tiny bit of bleach.

I'm a a cosmetologist and I get the same thing but with permanant haircolor. I've tried bleach and stuff like that but that normally just lightens it litle to none. Basically just take a nail file and lightly rough up the surface of your nail until you don't see yellow. Then you can just smooth out the surface of your nails with a buffer, and you should be good to go...

And if you want to PREVENT it from happening again, I suggest using a clear coat nail polish so your nail isn't porous and color/oil doesn't get into it (I use hairspray when I do a color treatment).

When I was at the nail salon my manicurist gave me a tip for whitening my nails and it might work for you. She told me to take a lemon and cut it in half and rub my nails in it twisting to make sure and get the juice under my finger nails. I think this could work because the acidity in the lemon does double duty; it will break down the oil making it easier to remove and it will also help with the discoloration. I hope this helps.
