Rolling Stones are my band-seen 'em live in '94 (Rose Bowl-RHCP opened for them!),'97 (Dodger Stadium) and in '02 and '05 (Anaheim Stadium).
Collecting audio and video b**tlegs from such sources as the Music Swapmeet at Pasadena City College (1st Sunday each month-open air) and the twice-yearly CD & Record Expo at Pomona College (just held yesterday(indoors) is a trip-wish I could share this goldmine of stuff I've got (am big on Floyd/Zep/Doors/Hendrix etc. too!)

Well, without the 'original rock' bands of the day (the ramones, the clash, pink floyd, the beatles, the rolling stones, ect.) we wouldn't have any of the bands we have now.
So, I guess one of those. I'm not a big fan of them, but I do know/appreciate all that they have done for today's music industry.

I think all of your choices are good, but I would say the greatest bands ever would be The Beatles, Led Zepplin, The Eagles, Def Leppard, and Motley Crue. How about a best answer? Yeah, I could use one!
