Ibuprofen is great for headaches.

You should swallow it whole, though, if you can. I used to have trouble with that, too. Try taking a big gulp of water, tip your head back and gargle. Drop the pill in while you are gargling. Give it a second to sink and then swallow quickly. You will not even feel it. And remember, your throat is about two inches wide, which is WAY bigger than a tiny pill. You will not choke. So visualise the pill having lots of room, relax, gargle, and swallow. You'll be fine.

Yes they work great for headaches. I wouldn't suggest chewing it, crushing it either why not just buy the liquid?? The next thought I have if you have trouble swallowing a pill you first need to relax throw the pill in the back of your mouth and take a big drink of water. Stop thinking about the fact that you are swallowing a pill but just drink they are small enough and usually go down easy. There are also alternative med. alternative that melt in your mouth and help well with headache and pain. Go to a good health food store (not GNC) a quality privately owned one and ask for recommendations for the right products.

Good luck

Do not crush the pills, yes it works for headaches. You are going to need to get Childrens advil it's liquid, probably have to at least double the dose. Check the weight/dose chart on the side and keep adding up doses until you get to your weight. Buy a liquid medicine cup/measurer if the Childrens Advil doesn't come with one.

The preparation determines whether it can be broken or crushed. Extended release tablets are coated and shouldn't be crushed/broken. Liquid might be easiest for you to swallow. Gel caps must be taken whole. Regular tablets can be broken or crushed without any problem.

It works very well especially for migraines. You can take up to 4 of them. I didnt realize this until I went to have My 2nd child. The dr. said instead of giving me a prescription for 800mg just take 4 of the otc 200 mg. Start by taking 2 but increase if needed. Dont take more than 4 though.
