I'm not talking about the "aspect ratio" or "fit to TV", but the image seems totally diffferent between a movie and a tv show. What causes the difference?

They are filmed on totally different mediums. TV is usually shot on Digital Video which does not retail a whole lot of detail or depth of focus (but then, sitcoms don't need that). And film is shot on 22 or 16mm film if it is produced in Hollywood and on big budgets. This kind of film captures the most detail the most depth of field and is generally prettier to watch. Smaller, independent films may use Digital Video, 8mm film etc.

which will be led to through a number of issues. yet you'll more beneficial than likely see the version once you're used to observing HD broadcasting and/or HD video (Blu-ray) on your HDTV and then see some thing in known definition or old movie it truly is been digitized. maximum significant action images are shot on movie and then digitized for playback on DVD and for cable and satellite tv for pc broadcasting. it truly is superb that labs are waiting to do such issues as colorize old black and white videos and enhance the seem of older videos. yet purely being waiting to work out old videos on HD flat demonstrate TVs makes the old technologies stand out.

They edit many scenes out of a movie to FIT the endless commericals. I have seen videos of a movie, released under different covers, with different scenes, added, and removed.. Three different versions of the same cd!
