I am sorry that i cant help you, because i am as stubborn as a freaking rock. He knows he is wrong he just wont admit it. When i have a time in my life where i am wrong it hits me like a couple months later. and i feel really bad about it...so yeah he knows he's wrong but he wont admit it because he cant believe it. I hope this helps...

Depends on what the issue is...

Why is it important to have the other person admit that they were wrong? Is it some sort of contest? Isn't it enough to know that you were right without having the other person admit that they were wrong (assuming the issue had a right and a wrong)?

If one keeps trying to prove that they are always right, they might wind up hearing their spouse say, "You're right...and I'm leaving."

I know it's hard to stand by someone when they have been proven to be wrong. Men sometimes have a hard time admitting when they are wrong. The best way to support them is to stand by them and don't say anything in the midst of adversity. When he calms down, try to reasonably express to him how his being stubborn makes you feel. He sounds like he may just be stuck on himself.

Let him think what he wants. When he is proven wrong, don't rub it in,that only makes it worse and he will start to hold secrets because he will start to see you as a nay sayer. No one likes to hear I told you so.Just know when you are right and as long as you know it,it won't matter who else knows. You do not have to prove anything to anyone. He should not be required to admit it.His ego won't allow him to.

I agree: NO lovin for him.

My husband used to be this way. He found out that a wife in a bad marriage with a real jerk may find comfort elsewhere, if you know what i mean. Co-workers can do wonders for the soul. I don't suggest cheating, but hey....you need to do what you need to do to be happy. It straightened my man's attitude out.

you need to ask Laura Bush this and then go along with whatever she has to say to you about your problem
