today i came home and updated my i tunes, along with it my settings changed, without my knowledge, so all my songs from my ipod were delete. So im looking for some suggestions. i like alternative, rock , rap, country. mostly i like softer rock, auguatana or socratic. anythign will help

Check out www.amazon.com and look under the genre you are interested in. they always have at least 10-20 great suggestions with sound clips, and they are usually listener suggested. You can surf the site for hours.. I think you might like The Calling, Ryan Adams, The Fray.. look up those on there and see if you like those, and on there is a suggestion list of other bands customers liked that are similar. ("Customers who bought this item also bought... ")

Death Cab for Cutie! Plans is their latest album, really great musicians, cool lyrics, love them to death. Their website is www.deathcabforcutie.com when you go there they have a jukebox that comes on so you can hear what their music is like. I hope you enjoy!
