i dont think its racist....its wrong, but i dont think its racist. It is a very misinformed negative stereotype, and seems like they may have had a bad experience or something.
I am not saying that only white people can be racist. Everyone can be racist, and perhaps we all have a small tidbit of racist like characteristics in us. We can be racist towards others or even ourselves, but racist none-the-less.
Im no expert...maybe the statement was racist...maybe it wasnt, but I am certain it was mean, stupid, false, and just out of line.

On the surface it is racist. But, when you take a look at what's brewing beneath the surface and their reasons for feeling this way it isn't cut and dry, black and white, pardon the pun. They have been victimized on a monumental scale for years. Those scars aren't readily healed. I would say that racism is wrong no matter who the culprit, but I feel that blacks are more justified in their anger. Whites have no justification for racism. None. Nada. Zilch. White racism in steeped in bigotry and hatred. Black racism stems from victimization, resentment and anger because of the victimization. And I am white.

I live in a pretty racially mixed neighborhood and the only ones who talk about race all the time are the black people. That always sort of bothers me cause I just don't think about it much. All that being said I think I like most black people I know better than most white people I know.

I walked into a university women's restroom the day Martin Luther King was assassinated.
I will never forget walking in as a white girl listening to the black girls crying and flushing and crying and flushing.........and coming out with swollen eyes.
Reach out to the people around you, we all need each other. Love is so much more important than hate.

Yes, I get sick of hearing how racist I am from people who are obviously racists themselves. You just have to ignore it, and know that there are good and bad people of every color.

basically if anybody calls anybody a "color" then they are being racist. even if they say that white girl over there is pretty, theyre being racist. it shows how they dont think everybody is equal or the same, because they must use a color to describe them. simple as that.

If someone makes this remark to you tell them to get to know you before assuming anything and just leave it at that. To "hate" another race is being prejudice and that's just ignorance.
