I am currently doing a project on Christopher Columbus. In this project, I must describe a mutiny.

I know basically what a mutiny is, but I don't really have a "proper" definition...and I can't seem to find it anywhere! Could someone please help me?

Thanks in advance.

Mutiny means that the crew have taken over all leadership - it means that they have collectively decided that they can rule the ship's mission better than the Captain can.
