You don't have to even have a problem for my in laws to spread stuff. They are very good at just making it up.....

they act like a reporter who has got a good scoop on you and is telling the whole world, well just family members.
When my inlaws hear some gossip they always drive by the house without stoping or come to visit to see what they can see.
The thing is these inlaws never come to visit me!!!! Yes they are very nosey. just watch your self and do not talk or trust them with any information. Good Luck!!

aha!!! You didn't follow the marriage rules like I did and take up residence across the country from your in-laws, did ya!!!! But, my in-laws would be pretty hush hush, I think, if that ever happened. Well, after it went through my hubby's 9 brothers and sisters and my 24 nieces and nephews, I think. Then after that, no one else would know. :)

I don't know about yours, but mine, well lets just say they are like the Daily Enquirer! Their enquiring minds tell all the enquiring family and then the rest is history.

I only have a mother-on law. She thinks the sun rises & sets on her son & that I am THE MOST HORRIBLE person she has ever met.

I never want to be that kind of inlaw..I practice mind my own buisness...they will work it out or not..as long as it doesn't get physically abusive....

I completely despise my In-laws......they just love it when they have something to yak about. I wont go near them...and it doesn't help when my loving wife makes up **** about me for something to talk about.
