Go take some pictures of inner city schools and suburband schools. Do inside and exterior shots. See how many computer labs are available, what kind of technology do both schools have. What are the differences in the libraries? What about the lunches and the quality of the food? You want to show how the schools affect the lives of the students who go there, right? What can the average graduate from a suburban school expect vs the average graduage from an inner city school?

Use pictures you take to emphasize the differences. What is the racial make-up of both schools? What is the average family income for both schools?

Your poster could be awesome. I'd like to see it myself.

Maybe by showing some test scores, a GPA comparison, teacher-student ratio or numbers of kids that go to college in the respective groups you are talking about.

experience level of teachers. amount of turnover of teachers. free and reduced lunch. test scores.

Many areas have taxes from their area go to the schools... property taxes can be looked at. basically amount of dollars spent per child is usually listed.

number of not fully certified teachers on staff (shows how hard it is to get teachers to teach in inner city schools)
number of specials available. graduation rates etc. number of after school programs available. Amount of PTA support... type of parent support.
