I am doing an essay on a topic of my choice, and I chose Skinny Models. I have the Cons pretty much covered, but I can only think of one Pro for Skinny Models? Can anyone think of Pros for having skinny models? Maybe that can be the concept of the paper...there are no Pros!

Sure, lets see, you don't have to feed them much... you don't have to worry about them stealing your man because we think they're all ugly and afraid we'll break them... you can fit a whole shows worth all in one VW bug so you'll save money on gas... they rarely have the energy to complain about salary or working conditions... they usually are so conceited they will work for praise alone. Thats about it.

I'm not sure what your "pro" is, so far, but one would have to be that clothes "drape" better on very angular (ie skinny) bodies. The bigger a body is and the more adipose tissue (ie fat), the more variation in shape and figure flaws and distortion of different body parts (ie big rear, hips, tummy), and these things distort the "line" of clothing.
Make sure to include in your cons all the addictions: caffeine, cigarettes, alcohol, cocaine, crystal meth, speed, etc. which skinny supermodels are prone to.

Clothes look the best on them. Its kinda like what frame looks best around a piece of art- and clothes look the best on skinny, tall models. Now I agree that some are way too skinny, and I am not tall and skinny, but I understand that clothes look best on people who don't look like me.

lol. this is a funny topic. there are plenty of pros, but you probably dont think so...
1. skinny is attractive, but not too skinny
2. curves are a good thing, but not too many
3. they promote apparel, accessories, and cosmetics.
4.skinny models can use their face and body to express different emotions required.

pros: designers design clothing just for skinny people and they show that off they look good cons: bad influence to younger girls causes them and others to have eating disorders

I honestly cannot think of any.
But I'm biased. I'll have a voluptuous, buxom curvy woman over any skinny model any day...

they act as coat racks and the designer clothing drapes over their bones nicely, this is why all runway models are rake thin. the object of interest is supposed to be the clothing, not the model's body.
