I believe a man can. My husband cheated on me more then I can count. In this last time I would not take him back. He now lives with the other women. Do I think he love her. No. This women he was cheated with in still is she was his best friend girlfriend and she sleep with his brother. My brother-in law. My husband thought why not she gives it up to anyone. So my husband thought for fun and games. But then it got beyond that. She a coke head and my husband starting doing it too. In 10yrs I knew him he never did drugs until he meet her. Anyways, things lead up to one thing after other. But after all that I know my husband still loves his wife, me. He just got caught up in the mix. He wants to come home, get back together, but I won't allow it. There's different reason why men cheat but they still love there wife's in still want there homes and family, but sometimes they think the grass is greener on the other side. But when it comes down to it they deep down inside love there wife's. They know that they were in the wrong. But you can't have your cake in eat it to yourself. That's just selfish.

A man that cheats, doesn't love his wife , because he doesn't love himself. He makes it all about him not caring if he brings something home to his wife, and how she would feel and the consequences if she found out. If he loved his wife or himself, then he would not be jeopardizing his life just for 5 or 10 minutes of fun. If he wanted other women, then he should have stayed single. Some people do take their vows serious and don't have time for the games.

Surprised by the yes answers here, but you said
can a man REALLY love his wife and still cheat, to each
his own but when vows are said by an individual when
being married and then broken this shows me disrespect
not being responsible and with these two actions taken
against the spouse it does not sound like the love that I
know about.

Absolutely not!!! Any man who cheats on his wife is in love with himself not his wife. When a man cheats he disrespects the very person that he has promised to honor and love, and putting aside all others. It is demeaning to a woman !

O.K., Doris_Bas,
Here is the truth, so listen closely.
A man can love his wife and still cheat on her!
Now, I will tell you the rest of the story.
Does he love you or is he truly and deeply in love with you?
There is a difference and, if he cheated on you, then his love
for you is the first type of love. This type of love will put you in
the same category as his love for his friends and for his
family that he enjoys spending time with.
If he feels that he is truly and deeply in love with you,
then you never have anything to worry about as he will never
cheat on you.
This is the truth, I hope you are ready for it.

Some people (not just men) see sex and love as totally seperate entities. Like one has nothing to do with the other.

HOWEVER, lying to a loved one, betraying their trust and a secret life seperate of your partner is NOT a loving manuever. If "cheating" involves these things, than the answer is NO.

If both parties mutually consent to extra-marital sex, then yes, you can still love each other.

... at least in my opinion ;-)

I completely agree with the difference between in love and loving someone. Yes, you can love, and even respect someone and still cheat on them to meet a need. I don't believe you can be in love and cheating.

No, absolutely not. Again, you took vows. Those vows include FIDELITY. I think there are some people that need to look that word up in the dictionary! If a man truly loves his wife, this would not even be a question!

My personal opinion is NOPE!! To me when you love someone you want them to be happy and not in pain. Being a "victim" of infedility is one of the most painful things. I don't see how someone who truly loves another person can cheat on them. By the way, someone saying they love you is a totally different thing than that person ACTUALLY loving you. People lie, cheating is a form of lying to me, so cheaters find it even easier to verbally lie

no one's love can be defined by anybody but the person who feels it.. therefor you cannot say that a man who cheats on his wife doesnt love her, he may just also love other women.. or love sex.. either way: you cannot tell someone they dont love another person because you dont know how exactly that person feels.. and never will.. unless you find a machine that can put you into their head.
